Dr. O, as he's known as to all his patients, established his practice of General Dentistry in his wife’s hometown of Springfield in September 1977. He was born in Bristol, VA and grew up in Norris, TN. He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University and received his dental degree in Memphis from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at the College of Dentistry. He served two years as a dentist in the U.S. Navy stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Memphis, TN. He then taught one year at the UT Dental School prior to moving to Springfield to start his practice.
He is married to the former Mary Dudley Bryant, of Springfield. They have two children, Will Onstott and Laura Onstott Powell. Dr. Onstott welcomed his first grandchild, Thomas Glen Powell, in March of 2011 and his second, Anne Ross Powell, in January 2014.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and 8th District Dental Society in Clarksville.
Dr. Onstott is a member of Springfield Baptist Church, where he also serves as a deacon. He is also an active member of the Springfield Rotary Club. His hobbies include his practice, his home, and he loves to travel! Ask him about all the places he's been... if you have the time to listen to it all!
Dr. Farris has been practicing in Springfield since August 1991. Prior to coming to Springfield, he attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, and then moved to the University Of Tennessee Health Science Center College Of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. He graduated, with honors, in 1990. After graduation, he completed a general practice residency at University Hospital / University of Florida dental clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the 8th District Dental Society in Clarksville. He has been a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry since 2001 and has just become a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry in August 2011.
Dr. Farris is an active member at Springfield First United Methodist Church. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, JoEllen, and their three sons, Evan, Ben & Will.
Dr. Fisher obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree, with honors, from the University of Tennessee at Martin in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry. Then he went on to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN for Dental school. He graduated, with honors, as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2003. After graduation, Dr. Fisher moved back to his hometown to begin practicing as a Dentist, with Drs. Onstott and Farris, at the same practice he had been a patient at for most of his life!
He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and 8th District Dental Society in Clarksville, TN. Dr. Fisher was born and raised in Springfield and is an alumni of Springfield High School. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He and his wife, Heather, have two daughters, Katy and Perri, who demand most of their free time. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, running, attending Predator’s games, and has been a Titans’ Season Ticket holder since 2002. He has only missed 1 Titan’s home game in the last 4 seasons -the week after Perri was born! Kevin is an avid runner and has completed numerous Marathons and half-marathons, including The Goofy Challenge (39.3 miles in 2 days) in Orlando, FL at Disney World in January 2011, where his daughters enjoyed their first trip to Walt Disney World. He also completed his first Warrior Dash (a 3.1 mile obstacle course) in October 2013 with Heather and is now trying to convince some of the office to join them in the 2014 Warrior Dash, where he & Heather have committed to raising money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital as Warrior Dash Warriors!
